  Unmasked is an obvious attempt at softening up and going commercial, but KISS was never about subtlety, and Unmasked stays true to course in that respect. While the saccharine sweetness of "Shandi" leads the way, Gene's dumbo keyboard-laced "She's So European," and the snicker worthy seriousness of "Naked City" deserve a nod.

  Apr 01,  · The last 3 tracks of the album "She's so European" - along with "YOu're All That I want" - are Gene songs, and the lack of enthusiasm in them as well as the mediocrity, show. Probably the worst tracks on the album, and possibly Gene's worst until that time. Ace's final track "Torpedo Girl" sounds like it would have fit nicely on his solo /5().

  This was the b-side of "Shandi", the first single from Kiss' 8th studio album "Unmasked" in Written by Gene Simmons and producer Vini Poncia, this was the second of 3 promotional videos produced to market the album and the song was played regularly on Australian radio stations while the A-side "Shandi" reached the #5 spot in that country.
